The Cord of Three Strands |

As Headmaster of Berean Christian School, I would like to welcome you to our website. Our mission at BCS is to partner with parents and
the local church to develop a passion for excellence in each of our students. The wise King Solomon observed, "A three-fold cord is not
easily broken." If two strands are good, three are better. Children with a godly home, a good church, and a quality Christian School are
more likely to grow in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord" than children without these three positive influences. To have the most
positive results, all three strands of the cord must intertwine together to guide and secure a positive future for each child.
Have you pondered the idea that according to the Bible, there are only two life-training institutions? They are the home and the church.
The Christian school is not specifically mentioned in the Bible. Parents are the primary educators of their children under God and they
alone are accountable to God to train their children. Berean Christian School teaches students with the delegated authority of their parents.
As the primary educators under God, each parent has the opportunity and obligation to carefully examine BCS' policies, practices, and
philosophy before delegating parental authority. The policies and the philosophy of the school determine how the child will be taught and
treated. At BCS, we seek to align all policies to a Christian philosophy of education and Christian values as found in the Bible and
reflected in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. It is our vision as a school to skillfully weave the strands of our great partnership
to offer quality Christian education to the most wonderful children on earth, yours!
